Cameron Diaz Calls A-Rod Split Rumors "Gossip"

Cameron Diaz Calls A-Rod Split Rumors "Gossip"

Despite recent rumors that Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez have struck out in the romance department, the Bad Teacher star says she and her Yankees player beau are doing just fine.

"If I want to read gossip, I read about somebody else's life. I can't worry about what other people say," Diaz, 38, told Extra about the breakup rumors. "It's fine to say whatever you want as long as you actually don't know what's going on in my life."

And to back up the actress' story, Diaz and Rodriguez were seen canoodling throughout Sunday's MTV Movie Awards and at the afterparty at L.A.'s SoHo House.

While they did spend moments away from each other to chat with other guests, a source tells Us Weekly that the two never went too far without checking in with each other. They also reportedly kissed and held hands throughout the night.

Days earlier the couple, who have been dating for more than a year, hit up a sports bar to catch an NBA finals game.

An onlooker at the pub said: "They were definitely a couple."

'Real Housewife' Ramona Singer Denies Drinking Problem

'Real Housewife' Ramona Singer Denies Drinking Problem

It's no secret that The Real Housewives of New York City's Ramona Singer likes her pinot grigio. She likes it so much, in fact, that some viewers have started to become concerned. Bravo producer Andy Cohen recently admitted that one of the most frequent questions he gets from Housewives fans is, "Does Ramona Singer have a drinking problem?"

Absolutely not, says Ramona. At a recent press party in the Hamptons, Singer explained how the show makes her look like a heavier drinker than she actually is. Watch the video below!

"Do I overdrink? No. I drink with responsibility," says Singer. "All I can say is, we're filmed in social events. If you look at anytime I have a drink in my hand, LuAnn (de Lesseps) is drinking. The other people are drinking," Ramona said. "The only person who doesn't drink is Jill (Zarin). She only drinks Diet Coke -- and you wonder why? But anyway, all the other Housewives shows -- they're all drinking."

Perhaps the emphasis on Singer's wine-guzzling -- with costars, including Zarin, expressing worry over Ramona's beverage consumption -- is just an easy plotline, since she's marketing her own pinot grigio? That's what Ramona and her husband Mario suggest. In fact, Ramona claims she took the producers to task over making a "story" out of her supposed "drinking problem."

"I've been on the show for four years," Singer recalls telling the producers. "How can I have five businesses, be married 19 years, have a daughter who's a straight-A student? I cannot even be a... functioning alcoholic if I had all of this stuff going on. It would be impossible."

"Do you ever see me fall down on TV? Do you ever see me slur my speech? Absolutely not," Singer continues. "Do I have a drink or two with dinner? Absolutely."

The 54-year-old businesswoman and mother also says that she drinks wine as an alternative to sweets: "I'd rather have my one or two glasses of pinot grigio than dessert, which is 700 calories. I mean, two pinot grigios are what, 150, 170?" (For the record: One five-ounce glass of pinot is about 123 calories, meaning two would be around 250).

Clearly, Ramona isn't losing her "turtle time" without a fight! In truth, though, a whole lot of drinking happens on reality TV, and it's hard to tell how much of it would be going on if the cameras weren't there. We'd like to think that the producers would be responsible enough to step in if there were a real problem. But since we don't know what goes on behind the scenes, it's Ramona's word versus Jill's. Who do you believe?

'American Idol' Scotty McCreery Weighs In On 'Country Bieber' Moniker

'Justin Bieber is the epitome of [a] big star, so it was cool for me,' McCreery says of his new nickname.

Throughout his championship run on the just-completed 10th season of "American Idol," Scotty McCreery never really wavered from his country roots ... even when he was singing Stevie Wonder.

And while you've certainly got to give him credit for playing to his strengths, McCreery's down-home crooning — not to mention his rather boyish good looks — also earned him a rather bizarre nickname: "Country Bieber." And while he can laugh at the comparisons, if he's being honest, McCreery can't really understand why anyone would equate him to the teen-pop prince. But his fellow "Idol" finalist, Lauren Alaina, certainly can.

"Country Bieber ... I mean, Justin Bieber is the epitome of [a] big star, so it was cool for me," McCreery smiled. "I mean, Justin's a whole lot further ahead than I am ... so, I guess it's mainly because of our age. ..."

"Girls love Scotty McCreery like they love Justin Bieber," Alaina interjected. "It's true."

"Thank you, Lauren," McCreery laughed. "I just figure it's because of our age. Me and Justin are pretty much two young guns."

And with the "Idol" title in the bag, McCreery can now focus on expanding on that whole "young guns" thing ... his first official single, the ballad "I Love You This Big," is already the biggest-selling coronation song since season-seven champ David Cook's "The Time of My Life," and he's beginning to contemplate how his debut album will sound. And, not surprisingly, it's going to be a country affair.

"It's gonna be a good ol' country album," McCreery said. "I like to have that old flavor in my music, but with a contemporary feel, so we'll see where that leads me. I think it'll be a good little mix."

And if you just can't get enough of "Love," well, you're in luck ... McCreery said that you'll have plenty of chances to see him perform it in the coming months on the American Idols Live! Tour. " 'I Love You This Big' is a great song, it's done me really well so far," he said. "And I'll be singing it a couple hundred more times, so I'm sure you'll be hearing it," he joked.

On Thursday (January 7), the U.K.'s Royal Mail unveiled a series of 10 new stamps, honoring the most iconic album covers of the past 40 years.

The albums featured in the new series are the Rolling Stones' Let It Bleed, Led Zeppelin's IV, David Bowie's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells, The Clash's London Calling, New Order's Power, Corruption and Lies, Primal Scream's Screamadelica, Pink Floyd's The Division Bell, Blur's Parklife and — the most recent album on to make the cut — Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head.

Meant to honor "the most potent graphic images of modern times, many of which have provided a visual soundtrack to people's lives," the series is the end result of a lengthy research process by the Royal Mail, who looked through thousands of album covers by British artists before deciding on the final list. And, during a Wednesday night BBC Radio broadcast, it was revealed that the queen herself actually approved each design.

Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page — who helped design the cover for IV — was on hand to celebrate the release of the stamps and recalled the mysterious nature of the album's iconic imagery.

"Almost 40 years after the album came out, nobody knows the old man who featured on the cover, nor the artist who painted him," he said. "That sort of sums up what we wanted to achieve with the album cover, which has remained both anonymous and enigmatic at the same time."

Of course, any great honor is befitting of an equally great contest, so, on the same day the stamps were made available to the general public, Coldplay decided to give one of their Rush of Blood stamps away. In a message on their official site, the band held a contest to send one lucky fan "a letter using a Coldplay stamp, postmarked with today's issue date."

"We visited our local post office earlier today and bought some of the Coldplay stamps," the message read. "Very nice they are too."
