Mandi Moyer: Battle Of The Exes Interview

I had the opportunity to talk with the beautiful Mandi Moyer from MTV?s Battle of the Exes today and she is such a sweetie! She talked about losing her top, Wes, and future Challenges! Last night’s episode was a bit surprising. I am an avid fan of the show and so I like to think I know how these things are going to go. But with this kind of reality show, anything can happen. Wes and Mandi are both strong competitors so I never really contemplated them going home on the second episode. But they did. So I had to rewrite all my questions, which were targeted at LeRoy and Naomi! Mandi was awesome to talk to and she was very open about how things went down last night. I asked her if it was frustrating being sent in to the dome not only for the second week in a row, but also by Vinny and Sarah. Sarah who is a good friend and Vinny who had just ripped her top off the night before. It was frustrating cause they are both my friends. And I was roommates with Sarah on the last show and we talked about going to [...]

Victoria Beckham Talks Insecurities and Inspiration in i-D

Victoria Beckham gets quirky on the cover of i-D magazine's "Whatever the Weather" issue, which hits newsstands on Feb. 9. She posed in skimpy clothes for the playful spread after also donning a leotard in Numéro Tokyo last month. Victoria's been working on her collection in London as she gears up for Fashion Week while her husband, David, recently debuted his own underwear line for H&M. Victoria chatted about her insecurities and inspiration for her clothes in the publication. Here's more from Victoria Beckham in i-D magazine:

  • On her changing style: "When I started it was all about the corset dress. That's what people associated me with, and possibly if I'm honest a sign of my own insecurities as well. But the older I get and the more comfortable I am in my own skin, the more I realise that to look great and feel great I haven't always got to wear something tight."
  • On her design inspiration: "I don't follow fashion and I don't follow trends, I just follow my instincts and think what do I want to wear? What am I feeling for next season?"

<P>Deck the halls! The holiday kicked into high gear Wednesday night (November 30) when New York's massive Christmas tree was lit during "Christmas in Rockefeller Center." Plenty of A-listers were on hand, including Justin Bieber, who premiered his highly anticipated video for "All I Want for Christmas Is You," featuring Mariah Carey. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:715720" width="240" height="211"></div><p> Before the strings of lights were illuminated, performances from Michael Bubl&#233;, Katharine McPhee, Big Time Rush, Tony Bennett, Carole King and Neil Diamond warmed viewers up. But Bieber was the headline act of the night, giving fans some big performances and an even bigger video premiere. Bieber amped up the energy with his hip-hop-ified take on the Christmas classic "Little Drummer Boy," which included him spitting a holiday-themed rhyme. Decked in all black, the teen star had the crowd screaming. He was even joined by Busta Rhymes, who appears on the <i>Under the Mistletoe</i> cut. JB then slowed things down with "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)," leaving his female fans swooning as he crooned the holiday standard. He was joined by his mentor Usher for the track. "God bless and Merry Christmas," Bieber told the crowd before tossing to the "All I Want for Christmas Is You" video. The clip features Mariah Carey dressed in a sexy Santa Claus outfit standing in a department store as she dances around singing the track, almost as if she's on display for holiday shoppers. It also sees Bieber and his pals shopping for some choice holiday gifts like high-top kicks. In between performance shots of Bieber and Mariah, a street-corner Santa Claus hands out envelopes to shoppers on the street, teasing an inevitable yuletide party scene. The shoppers are then welcomed into the department store, where Justin and Mariah hand out gifts to everyone. The duo tease and flirt with each other as everyone around them unwraps their gifts. Bieber and Carey re-recorded her classic holiday tune for his chart-topping holiday album, which also features appearances from the Band Perry and Boyz II Men. They filmed the video earlier this month, just in time for the holiday season. <i>Did Bieber get you in the holiday spirit? Let us know in the comments!</i></p>

<P>About a year ago, Justin Bieber made headlines when he lopped off his famous locks in favor of a shorter do. Now, almost 12 months later, he's once again making some hair-related headlines. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:667806" width="240" height="211"></div><p> So, what has Bieber done now that has everyone <i>buzz</i>ing? Well, over the weekend, the Biebs was spotted in Los Angeles donning much darker hair than his trademark sandy blond. When Bieber cut off his hair last year, MTV News spoke to his hairstylist, Vanessa Price, who told us about his new look, noting that it had a lot to do with Bieber's growing pains. "We knew it was going to be a big deal," Price explained. "We knew it was going to shock fans, but we also knew it was going to be a change in terms of growing up. I think that's something that people adjust to. "We'd been talking about it for a while and shared some ideas, but literally the day of he was adamant about the haircut. He amped himself up for it," Price continued, before describing his momentary hesitation. "The minute we started cutting, he was like, 'Wait, wait, wait.' He loves it. He's enjoying it." The new hair color coincides with his girlfriend Selena Gomez's hairstyle changes. She recently tweeted a photo of herself sporting multi-colored highlights in her hair. Bieber's new look may be part of a makeover for his upcoming album, <i>Believe,</i> slated for release later this year. He confirmed last week that Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am will appear on the album. Not only does Bieber want to grow up when it comes to his look but also when it comes to his music. "The only conversation we've had about Justin's album that we're about to do is it's really important that it's the proper transition, because we've seen him [with] 'Baby,' now we're watching him grow up," Bieber's longtime vocal producer Kuk Harrell told MTV News in November. "And we can't just throw him into the adult game right away. It has to be the proper transition."</p>
