Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's teenage daughter swears that she didn't inherit her parents' drug problems -- and that those pictures in the National Enquirer were a setup. The photographs printed by the tabloid appear to show Bobbi Kristina Brown, 18, snorting cocaine at a party last year. The accompanying story quoted Kristina's ex-boyfriend calling her a drug addict. Kristina took to Twitter this week to air her side of the story: That the photos were a setup by her vindictive ex.
"The person that did this was a result of a horrible relationship that went sour," writes Bobbi Kristina. "I was in love -- he was in love with money. I've learned my lesson." Bobbi writes that the ex-boyfriend "set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like. God will smite them yes... But it's not really what it looks like... all I can do now, is keep my head up high, keep looking towards the lord." Brown also praises her mother, tweeting, "I love my family so much. My mom just comforted me to the max, and I'm so thankful for her. Thank you so much lord for blessing me with an Phenomenal family and incredibly phenomenal mother. Thank you for giving me the strength to move forward and put things in the past." As for going down the same path as her singer parents, who have both been in and out of rehab and jail, Brown says it's not happening. "I'm following my mother's footsteps industry wise," she tweets. "My family is great -- and I know I will overcome this and succeed. This is all I'm gonna say." According to Popeater, the Enquirer has a history of printing negative stories about Bobbi Kristina, including a 2008 report that Bobbi "tried to stab her mom during an argument -- and then attempted to kill herself by slashing her wrists." Brown was fifteen at the time.
Paula Abdul had a straight-up bad Valentine's Day. The '90s pop star and former American Idol judge ended her night with a hysterical call to the police -- but don't worry, she's fine. She just had a really bad argument with her boyfriend. TMZ has a clip of the dramatic 911 call that Paula made from her boyfriend's car. You can listen to it here.
During the call, Abdul seems to be pleading with her boyfriend to let her out of his car. "Drop me off! I wanna go and he won't let me!" says the star, before dissolving into incoherent shrieks. After she tells her Valentine's Day companion that she has emergency services on the phone, she informs the operator that he's dropping her off. So was that the end of that? Police contacted Abdul an hour after the phone call, and were told that it was just verbal argument. She declined to file a police report. And according to her rep, it was just an innocent fight that got resolved. "Arguments with loved ones are often times heated," Abdul's rep told E! News. "After the call was made everything was worked out." Call us crazy, but calling 911 on your date seems a little extreme unless there was something more going on. Then again, Paula is a little extreme, so who knows? We'd like to think that she got home safe and sound, and promptly dumped the guy for a box of chocolates.'I really want my birthday to be all about helping others,' teen star shared on Charity: Water's website.

Ever wonder what you might get Justin Bieber for his 17th birthday? Well, the pop star has the answer. In honor of his big day, he's working with the nonprofit Charity: Water, requesting that his fans donate money to the cause that brings clean water to developing nations.
"I have had an incredible year and it is all due to the fans helping me live my dream. I'm turning 17 years old on Tuesday [March 1] and have so much to be grateful for!" Bieber wrote on the charity's website. "So this year, I really want my birthday to be all about helping others. Instead of asking for gifts, I'm asking friends, family and fans to consider donating $17 for my 17th birthday to help make a change," he continued. "One hundred percent of all donations go directly to building clean water projects in developing countries with Charity: Water, and we'll be able to see photos and GPS of the projects we helped build!"
The teen star then gave his fans some facts about why they should get involved. "Together, we've made a big difference for many causes. Did you know that about 4,500 kids die each day from waterborne disease?" he shared. "By building clean water projects for villages that need them, we can prevent this! I want to make my birthday matter this year — let's make it so more kids can grow up to have a 17th birthday like me. Join me to make a change.
"I'm really so grateful for my family, friends and fans — and I believe we can do something big to help bring clean water to people in need," he added. "Even if you don't have $17 to give, I just ask you to go out in your community and try and make a positive difference. Even the smallest act of kindness can go a long way. Thanks and God Bless! #makeachange."
As it turns out, his call has already been answered by his fans. Charity: Water tweeted, " Thanks to all you Beliebers, we hit $7 million raised on mycharity: water today! #makeachange."
