Did Jen Aniston Ban Heidi Montag from Her Movie Premiere?

Did Jen Aniston Ban Heidi Montag from Her Movie Premiere?

Heidi Montag can relax. It turns out that Jennifer Aniston is not out to get her.

Montag told UsMagazine.com that she was "so upset" at the thought that Aniston specifically asked for the reality star to be banned from the N.Y.C. premiere of Just Go With It, which The Hills star had a cameo in.

"I was so excited! This is the first movie I've ever been in and I can't walk the red carpet because Jennifer Aniston decided I was 'too polarizing,'" she said Thursday afternoon. "I've been such a huge Jennifer Aniston fan my entire life and it's just really upsetting that she would do this to me. She should know how hard it is to make a career for yourself and to have someone like Jennifer Aniston go out of her way to make things hard for me is really disheartening."

But the truth is that Aniston had nothing to do with Montag not being at the movie's big night.

"It was all a big misunderstanding," the 24-year-old admitted later. "It never really made sense to me because Jennifer is such a sweetheart and she even commented before on a red carpet about how interesting and fun it was to have me in the movie."

Still, Montag didn't turn up at Tuesday night's premiere and, no doubt, felt a tad bit silly about her tantrum.

"I got my invite and I would have loved to be there, but I had to be in Los Angeles with my dogs," Montag explained. "I was honored to be a part of such a great movie and I apologize to Jennifer and Sony for this big misunderstanding. Go see the movie this weekend! It's fantastic!"

Rihanna Agrees to Reduce Restraining Order Against Chris Brown

Rihanna Agrees to Reduce Restraining Order Against Chris Brown

Two years ago, singer Chris Brown assaulted then girlfriend Rihanna while the two were en route to the Grammys. Fast forward to today: Rihanna, 22, is at the top of her game with six Grammy nominations, and is getting ready to perform at the 2011 ceremony. And according to E!, she's also softening the restraining order against her ex-boyfriend.

The "S&M" singer has reportedly agreed to drop her restraining order to level one, meaning that she and Brown can legally be in the same room again, and even talk to one another. However, Brown is not allowed to "annoy, molest or harass her" or he'll be in violation of the law. In January, Brown's lawyer requested that the restraining order be reduced, saying that it could be a "problem with awards shows."

But even if the restraining order is reduced -- Brown has to first go to court so a judge can officially modify the order -- Brown and Rihanna won't come face-to-face for the first time at the Grammys. Although Brown has three nominations, he has declared that he won't be attending the February 13 ceremony due to a prior commitment. We're sure Rihanna is grateful for that; the last thing she needs is to confront her abusive ex with a swarm of paparazzi documenting every second.

As for Rihanna, she's still urging her fans to move past the abuse and concentrate on her career success instead. In response to an irate Twitter follower who criticized her Thursday for easing the restraining order, the pop star twittered: "I would've sworn he beat YOUR a**, just by how upset you are! My fans don't care about a restraining order and neither do I!"

We understand that Rihanna wants to get past that ugly moment in her life, but her horrified fans will never forget what happened. And the best way for her to get past it is to never let it happen again.

Lady Gaga Says 'Born This Way' Was 'An Immaculate Conception'

Lady Gaga graces the March cover of Vogue in a baby pink wig, styled like late British fashion icon Isabella Blow, with her hands at her side and wearing a decidedly feminine Grecian gown. The accompanying article is an in-depth portrait of the pop star that also reveals some new details about her single, "Born This Way," set for release on Friday.

"I wrote ['Born This Way'] in 10 f---ing minutes," she explains in the article. "And it is a completely magical message song. And after I wrote it, the gates just opened, and the songs kept coming. It was like an immaculate conception."

Jonathan Van Meter, who wrote the article for the fashion magazine, heard the track and said that it "at first sounds suspiciously like a Madonna tune and then switches into something that feels a bit like a Bronski Beat hit and then finally transforms into its own thing: a Gaga original. Clearly an homage to the obscure underground disco record 'I Was Born This Way'; it is an unbelievably great dance song, destined to be the anthem of every gay-pride event for the next 100 years."

In the chat, Gaga said that the album of the same name, out in May, will certainly be a Gaga record with something to say about life and her "little monsters."

"Because as an artist and as a performer, the person that they look up to to create this space of freedom and escapism, I want to give my fans nothing less than the greatest album of the decade," she said. "I don't want to give them something trendy. I want to give them the future."

Gaga also revealed the name of the album's next single, "Judas," which will blend pop and rock. "There's a Bruce Springsteen vibe, there's a Guns N' Roses moment. It's the anthemic nature of the melodies and the choruses," she said. "It is much more vocally up to par with what I've always been capable of. It's more electronic, but I have married a very theatrical vocal to it. It's like a giant musical-opus theater piece."

On Thursday (January 7), the U.K.'s Royal Mail unveiled a series of 10 new stamps, honoring the most iconic album covers of the past 40 years.

The albums featured in the new series are the Rolling Stones' Let It Bleed, Led Zeppelin's IV, David Bowie's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells, The Clash's London Calling, New Order's Power, Corruption and Lies, Primal Scream's Screamadelica, Pink Floyd's The Division Bell, Blur's Parklife and — the most recent album on to make the cut — Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head.

Meant to honor "the most potent graphic images of modern times, many of which have provided a visual soundtrack to people's lives," the series is the end result of a lengthy research process by the Royal Mail, who looked through thousands of album covers by British artists before deciding on the final list. And, during a Wednesday night BBC Radio broadcast, it was revealed that the queen herself actually approved each design.

Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page — who helped design the cover for IV — was on hand to celebrate the release of the stamps and recalled the mysterious nature of the album's iconic imagery.

"Almost 40 years after the album came out, nobody knows the old man who featured on the cover, nor the artist who painted him," he said. "That sort of sums up what we wanted to achieve with the album cover, which has remained both anonymous and enigmatic at the same time."

Of course, any great honor is befitting of an equally great contest, so, on the same day the stamps were made available to the general public, Coldplay decided to give one of their Rush of Blood stamps away. In a message on their official site, the band held a contest to send one lucky fan "a letter using a Coldplay stamp, postmarked with today's issue date."

"We visited our local post office earlier today and bought some of the Coldplay stamps," the message read. "Very nice they are too."

Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn Are Not Dating

Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn Are Not Dating

Scarlett Johansson may be looking for love again, but not in the arms of Sean Penn. Despite rumors that Scarlett is "smitten" with the 50-year-old Milk Oscar winner, Johansson's rep tells E! Online that the 26-year-old actress is just friends with the much older Penn.

"Scarlett and Sean are not dating -- they have been friends for years," the voluptuous blonde's rep insists. "Nothing more, nothing less. They have been talking over the last few months regarding Haiti Relief and Scarlett's upcoming trip to Haiti as Oxfam's Global Ambassador."

Despite the 24-year age difference between the two, they certainly have a fair amount in common. In addition to a commitment to philanthropic work, both have some experience with marriages crumbling in the spotlight. Penn divorced Robin Wright, his wife of 14 years, in August 2010, and Scarlett is currently in the midst of a very public split from her husband of two years, Ryan Reynolds.

It's almost too bad Johansson's camp is denying this new romance. If Ryan can maintain some friendly flirting with his Proposal costar Sandra Bullock, why shouldn't Scarlett have some rebound fun with a mature lover too?
