Video: Brad Pitt Calls for a "Statute of Limitations" On Jennifer Aniston Drama

Brad Pitt's Today Show interview with Matt Lauer aired this morning and in addition to talking about Moneyball, the conversation turned to the Jennifer Aniston marriage Parade Magazine quote drama from last week. Brad once again praised Jennifer saying, "She's good people. She, you know, there, there should be a statute of limitations on this," and revealed that while she hasn't actually reached out to him about the situation she's a "seasoned veteran" of all this as well.

Matt tried to read Brad back the quote that got him in trouble but the actor declined saying, "I don't read these things, by choice, I don't. I don't wanna be encumbered by any of that. I know my intentions, and I know what I believe, and I know things get misconstrued. I live outside of, of that, and it's much healthier." As for a lesson from the experience? "Don't talk. I don't wanna live on guard and I should be more on guard, I guess ... it's always been a part of the territory...it comes up every cycle. I've got a knack for stepping into sh*t. And I do every year or so... And it's OK. It's alright." Overall Brad says he was just trying to compliment current partner Angelina Jolie. Brad's movie is out tomorrow and amid all this drama, he's getting early award season buzz for his portrayal of Billy Beane and this weekend we'll see if audiences are excited to see Brad's passion project, Moneyball hit the big screen.
